Gashouse cafe

Great news about the Gashouse Cafe opening this week at the station, within a few minutes walk of the cottage. The name comes from the fact that it is converted from a small building that was used to store acetylene gas for lamps way back in the days of steam trains and is accessed from the platform of the Strathspey Steam Railway. It is run by Nash and Heather whose other business is the Ride Cairngorm bike shop to which it is attached
