Looking forward to the summer

This is Lochan Uaine, The Green Lochan, near Glenmore, on one of the perfect spring days we have been enjoying this week. It really feels like summer is on the way. If you are into mountain biking you can cycle here from the cottage as part of the classic Ryvoan Loop. Otherwise it is easily accessed by foot from the car parks at Glenmore, and you can carry on to take in a perfect 3-4 hour hill walk up Meall a'Bhuachaille which has stunning views across to the main Cairngorm plateau. 

It is very tough for everyone at the moment in these uncertain times, but we look forward to an easing of the current restrictions in the summer and to welcoming our guests back to Loch Cottage.
